Challenge ropes course is a growing practice in recreational programs in Malaysia. Persatuan Jurulatih Rekreasi Malaysia (PJRM) / Malaysian Outdoor Recreation Instructor Association (MORIA) aims and committed to research and collate international safe practices and attaining best techniques on this specific skills and industry of challenge rope course.

National Challenge Ropes Course (NCRC) Scheme is developed by MORIA in compliance to international safety standards such as ACCT or even UIAA. This is to establish and promotes the standard of performance and measure of excellence that define professional practices and effective of challenge ropes course training in Malaysia. THREE (3) level of progressive set of skills are introduced here to make up the full NCRC scheme.

  • National Challenge Ropes Course  I (NCRC 1) – An introductory
  • National Challenge Ropes Course II (NCRC 2)– Personal Competency (Asst. Instructor)
  • National Challenge Ropes Course III(NCRC 3) Leader – Technical Competency (Instructor)

The proficiency course aims to equip safety conducting challenge ropes course activities with sound technical knowledge ropes course leaders.
